PatStaresAt, also known as AngriestPat, whose full name is Patrick "Pat" Boivin, is a Twitch streamer, best known for his work with Super Best Friends Play throughout much of the 2010s, of which he was one of the founding members alongside Matt McMuscles. Pat is known for his passionate behavior, weird obsessive-compulsive actions, which he calls "Mind Goblins" and being wrong about stuff he's completely sure is true.

History

Boivin joined with Matt McMuscles to create the Two Best Friends Play series in 2010. That year, they played the Wii game Kirby's Epic Yarn, with the pair getting comedically angry with each other despite the game's easy nature. This was followed up by a video of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Though Matt's account was later suspended, the videos were re-uploaded to YouTube in 2011 on his new channel, TheSw1tcher.

The duo was contacted by Machinima after their first two videos became popular, and on December 19th, 2010, the group, known as "Two Best Friends Play," launched the first of their videos through a partnership with the network, featuring a Donkey Kong Country Returns play through.

Over the following eight years, the channel grew a large fan base as it played a variety of games and had a variety of series and running gags. The channel became "Super Best Friends Play" as it added streamers Woolie and Liam. On December 16th, 2018, the members of the channel announced they would be parting ways and that Matt and Pat were no longer friends.

After the Super Best Friends Play channel ended, Pat focused on a streaming career on Twitch,^[1] where he streams under the name AngriestPat.

Online Presence

On Twitch, Pat has gained over 76,000 subscribers as of February 10th, 2020, and uploaded videos from the stream to his YouTube channel Pat Stares At.^[2] On Twitter, he has 86,500 followers.^[3] Besides this, he also runs a Podcast alongside Woolie, named Castle Super Beast^[4] continuing their work from the Super Best Friendcast, the podcast the Super Best Friends used to do.

Peachsaliva

Peachsaliva, also known as Paige, is Pat's girlfriend, who also has her own Twitch stream the Ruby Weapon Hour^[5] where she has 36,800 subscribers and plays video games or reads Fanfiction. Pat is a usual guest at the streams alongside Elmo and Skelmo (Paige's emotional support skeleton).

Two of the most notable moments during her Twitch career are when she was able to defeat Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos from Bloodborne in around one minute (shown below, left) or when she couldn't comprehend the shadow puzzles of Resident Evil 7 (shown below, right).

Elmo

Elmo, also known as Mr. Pee-Pee and The Baby, is Paige and Pat's special needs cat that appears in all their streams, he was found as a kitten in a dumpster covered in his pee and adopted by Paige while she was working at a pet shelter. During their streams, Pat and Paige sometimes sing the Elmo song, a song dedicated to the cat, a cover of the song was uploaded by YouYube user umbysworld on April 3rd, 2018, getting 33,700 views in the following years (shown below).

「Crazy Talk」 is the fan-given name of the supposed stand of the Twitch streamer and YouTuber Angriestpat, which has the ability to change reality to make every statement that Pat says no longer the truth, both in favor and misfortune to Pat. The joke was created in response to Pat's tendency to claim something as an absolute truth and seconds later being proven wrong by fate.
