Overview

Frank Hassle is a content creator and troll who became increasingly popular throughout the 2020s for his videos where he harasses or "hassles" people in public, including by making sexual advances at them, accusing them of things they didn't do and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, refusing to follow guidelines and targetting people who were following them. Hassle gained particular notoriety in September 2020 for showing up at Boogie2988's house, causing Boogie to point a gun at him, leading to his arrest. Hassle was banned from YouTube that year and now uploads his content to Gumroad. In May 2023, Hassle was brought onto Sam Hyde's show Fishtank Live to mess with the contestants.

Online History

Frank Hassle began posting content to YouTube in March 2020, however, he was banned from YouTube on August 15th, 2020 due to the nature of his content.[1] The earliest publically available content by Hassle is available on his BitChute[2] page and includes clips of him hassling streamers and people in public spaces (reuploads of early videos from 2020 shown below).

Boogie2988 Gun Incident

On September 28th, 2020, YouTuber Boogie2988, who alleges that Hassle was harassing him for months, pointed a gun at Hassle after he showed up at Boogie's house and fired a warning shot. Hassle made two posts to Twitter[3][4] following the incident: one showing Boogie holding the gun, writing, "i took the gun and made him suck it like a dick while the whole neighborhood watched," and another in front of Boogie's house, writing, "this is my house now bitch." About a year later, a warrant was put out for Boogie's arrest in relation to this incident.

COVID-19 Pandemic Hassling

Some of Hassle's most noteworthy content from 2021 features him harassing people about the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, on March 6th, 2021, YouTuber Frank Hassle (not official) uploaded a video where Hassle goes around Walmart and accuses people wearing masks of taking their masks off (shown below). On March 11th, YouTuber[5] Ass Kancer reuploaded a video where Hassle shows gay adult content to Zoom group chats, including people attending church over Zoom.

To Be a Predator

Also in 2021, Hassle also released two videos in a series titled "to be a predator," where Hassle goes around in public and makes unwanted sexual remarks and come-ons to men (shown below, reupload).

9/11 Back Tattoo

On April 17th, 2023, Frank Hassle uploaded an image to Instagram[8] showing off a back tattoo drawn in a crude style by artist Tokipar depicting the twin towers on the September 11th, 2001 attacks with people falling out of the buildings (shown below). The post gained over 4,900 likes in a month.

Appearance on Fishtank Live

On May 10th, 2023, the 23rd day of Sam Hyde's livestreamed reality show Fishtank Live, Sam Hyde introduced Frank Hassle to stay in the house for a while after a donation goal was met on the site to "unleash Frank Hassle" on the fish (shown below).

Hassle proceeded to troll the fish and wreck the house in various ways. For example, Hassle was filmed damaging Josie's plush toys, which viewers donated to her (shown below, left). He was also seen hassling the contestant Sylvia in a variety of ways, including by stealing her bed (shown below, right).

Hassle was also seen comforting YouTuber Airsoftfatty, who was also a guest in the house at the time, as Airsoftfatty was crying over being unable to find affordable housing and his cat getting taken away due to, alleged by Airsoftfatty, interference by internet trolls.

Online Presence

Frank Hassle's content is available on Gumroad, where he charges $5 US per month for full access. He is also active on Twitter[6] as @FrankHassleYT and Instagram[7] as @frankhassle.

Since his ban from YouTube, numerous users have reuploaded his content to the site in an effort to archive it and make it more readily available (popular examples shown below).
