On April 10th, 2024, TikToker^[1] @arleth_isi posted a video in which a schoolboy wearing a red polo shirt says, "I don't fuckin' know. I just wanna see a fight." The camera pans to another student, a girl, who says, "Who the fuck is Coco? What the fuck? I didn't even know there was a Coco at our school." Over 12 days, the video received roughly 10.4 million plays and 2 million likes (shown below).

After the video went viral, others on the app started using it for their content. For instance, an early, viral example was posted by TikToker^[2] @alexandramichelee on April 13th, 2024, who lip dubbed the original sound with her friend, gaining over 1.1 million plays and 216,500 likes in nine days (shown below, left).

On April 18th, TikToker^[3] @sturni6los posted an edit with the video, receiving over 3.6 million plays and 483,800 likes in four days (shown below, right).

Iterations of the meme became increasingly absurd, like a video posted by TikToker^[4] @vexbolts on April 21st, 2024, that crudely remixed a Ken Carson song with the girl's quotes, receiving over 1 million plays and 173,100 likes in one day (shown below, left).

More users started using the original video's sound,^[5] like TikToker^[6] @1105001___ on April 20th, who joked about, "Me trying to include myself into my coworkers conversations at my new job," earning over 2.7 million plays and 709,500 likes in two days (shown below, right).
