I've seen this phrase in some sites and I've been wondering, if you can tell me, where this phrase originated. I don't know, but is the phrase stemming from FunnyJunk?

There's this gif, which I see a lot on forums, particularly this site:

Search under "that's enough internet for today gif" on Google Images and a large number of the image results are this gif.

As far as I can tell that gif predates 2008, earliest reference to it I could find is from a thread on neogaf

Fella by the name of Hootie requests for it, stating he's seen it previously. And apparently the scene is from the final episode of season 4 of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

However, the phrase "Well, That's enough internet for today" appears to be added later, as it is posted in a dedicated thread on bodybuilding which is also from 2008 WITHOUT the caption.

So you get the gif first, probably before 2008, and the caption added on later.

The OP turned off his computer and was never seen again.

Um… I'm still actually here.

Not you, I was speaking of the Original OP.
As in, the guy who "started" this meme.

It was a joke.

Sorry… I didn't really understand your phrase, because I can't understand English that well… :S

It's all right. I didn't do a good job of indicating what I was talking about.
Sorry about that, hehe.
