Yes, my language is gendered, even things that aren't alive like a car or a chair are called he or she.

While I get that this doesn't make much sense, for years you said that you just want to be left alone, you just want to exist, I don't have to do anything, nothing will change in my life, you getting rights doesn't mean I'm losing my rights.

And now, you want the language I'm speaking for 30 years to be completely overhauled, of course I will have to do something, of course this will change my life, sure, languages change over time, but when people don't want those changes, this is being forced, there are no laws in my country forcing gender-neutral language, but it can totally happen in the future and it looks like the next logical step.
