Ok, the logic is sound, but I question the assumptions. Chiefly, it ignores the fact that someone behaving in a way to get themselves muted is itself a burden on the team (seriously, GTFO of the voice chat with petty bullshit); muting them is just as likely to be a net gain for both the targeted individual and team. Additionally being muted is itself a disadvantage, since you can no longer share information or request assistance.
Finally, even if everyone is equally disadvantaged by muting, the kind of asshole who would behave badly via voice is probably still going to behave badly via text, meaning you've traded a competitive advantage for literally nothing.
