Stewie Griffin Crying In Bed refers to a clip of the Family Guy character Stewie Griffin going to sleep and sobbing silently in bed. The scene achieved popularity on TikTok in early 2024, as users lip-dub him saying I Should Get Some Sleep before he starts crying, often adding relatable overlay texts about feeling sad or depressed.

On October 4th, 2020, Famili Guy aired the 20th episode of season 19th, titled "The Talented Mr. Stewie,"[1] which centers around Stewie's "breaking up with" Rupert (stuffed bear) after learning that he used to belong to Chris and decides to take action. In a particular scene, Stewie is in bed with Ruppert reading a book and says "I should get some sleep," turning the lights off and silently crying in the corner. The moment was posted on YouTube[2] by user @shamyforever1889, which amassed more than 625,000 views and 15,000 likes in four years.

The scene was reposted on TikTok in 2023, being used as an exploitable and viral sound on the platform. For instance, on August 22nd, 2023, TikTok[3] user @essential_recruitment posted the clip of Stewie crying paired with the overlay text "me falling asleep on a Sunday night," which amassed over 50,000 plays and 662 likes in 9 nine months (shown below, left). On August 19th, 2023, TIkTok[4] user @stewie.crying.in edited Stewie's clip over the Cigarettes After Sex song "Cry," which amassed more than 241,000 plays and 10,700 likes in nine months.
