The kicker is when I read one of those bestsellers about a detective casing a arson murder about his sister and her son, victims of said arson, which evolved into an adventure of genetic traits and single mothers using genetically modified sperm while Christian extremism antagonists being the cause of the murders.
The fucking story ended with a half-dead fish swimming in a tank.
