Overview

Brooke Schofield And Clinton Kane Drama refers to multiple TikToks posted by user TikToker Brooke Schofield (@brookeschofield1) about her relationship with the singer-songwriter Clinton Kane in which she alleges Kane of faked his Australian nationality, lied about the death of his entire family, pretended to be older, and repeatedly cheated on her throughout their months-long relationship. The 14-part video was posted on June 2024, titled "Who TF did Brooke Schofield marry?", which is inspired by another TikTok drama called Reesa Teesa's "Who TF Did I Marry" TikTok Series. Schofield and Kane's drama sparked jokes and memes on TikTok, especially regarding the lies allegations against the singer.

On June 25th, 2024, the singer-songwriter Clinton Kane[1] posted a video (seen below) promoting his single "I Don't Wanna Live In A World Without You" in which he wrote, "When you've been over the relationship for 2 years but she won't stop yapping." The video amassed more than 6 million plays and 33,000 likes in a week.

The relationship Kane is allegedly referencing in his video was with Brooke Schofield,[2] who co-hosts the podcast 'Cancelled', as she uploaded a 14-part video series on TikTok in response to the singer's promotional video. In her first video (shown below, left), she sang Kane's lyrics captioning the post with "The rage bait is working please stream this song all proceeds go to his mom." The video amassed over 13 million plays and 866,000 likes in a week.

Schofield went on to tell how she met and started dating[3] the singer, somewhere between 2021 and 2022, and that Kane lied over the course of their relationship about his upbringing in Perth, Australia, and the death of his entire family in 2020. In her last video about Kane's lies, she also alleges that he cheated on her throughout their months-long relationship. The video (seen below, right) amassed over 4.8 million plays and 474,000 likes in a week.

Clinton Kane's Response

On June 27th, 2024, Clinton responded to accusations about his mother’s death and the other accusations made by Schofield on her TikTok series. According to an article posted by PEOPLE[4] magazine, Kane’s representative confirmed their relationship and that the singer was "born in the Philippines, and lived in Australia for a time as a child."

On June 27th, 2024, TikToker[6] @ethanschrauf posted a video about Kane's TikTok engagement mentioning a post that had 5 million views to 5,000 likes ratio." The video (seen below, right) garnered over 3.4 million plays and 277,000 likes in a week.
