This is where you start to lose me. Sure it’s ironic now but there have been so many times online where being ironic leads to breeding people who actually think that way.

For example, MeowBah talking about how COVID isn’t real on Twitter, saying racial stuff on discord, etc.

It’s very concerning especially with the rise of radicalization from the internet.

Just be careful.

A lot of people have schadenfreude now but will we see the same if the tables are turned? Gonna keep documentation on this.

For those who think it’s the end of Crypto… Very curious, what makes this different than the other bear markets of the past? I’m skeptical it’ll ever just die.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

MatPat is seen as a "Normie" to video game communities. He's been wrong a lot of times with his theories and it can be embarrassing to many when surface-level theories can be debunked.

Also, his OMORI playthrough was rightfully hard to watch. He thought the emotion system was like Undertale in which you can "pacify" enemies. This was all explained in the tutorial.

According to a recent interview, Matt Selman, Simpsons writer since the very beginning said: “Trust me, I’m aware of the popular sentiment of which seasons are classic and which are not.We’re writing something that, as much as any piece of I.P., most people have a relationship with of some kind. The Simpsons is like a highway, and everyone has ridden it, or actively chosen not to, at some point in their lives."

Catering to many, many generations of audiences is difficult.

Opinion: there ARE good Simpsons episodes now. Here's two, and they both have a theme.

Pixelated and Afraid (2022):

Marge and Homer reluctantly go to a resort to rekindle their marriage together. They get lost in the wilderness and have to fight to survive. Homer shows a lot of courage and thoughtfulness to Marge, and they both survive by following snowmobile tracks into a ranger's outlook. Episode ends with them looking into the sunset.

Balenciaga Short (2021)

It's Marge's birthday and Homer forgot to give her a gift. Homer writes to luxury clothing company Balenciaga and the higher-ups are touched by Homer's letter. They deliver Marge a fancy dress for her to wear. After a day of fun, Marge writes back to the company and expresses her gratefulness.
Balenciaga, then decide to fly everyone from Springfield into France so they can be models. Episode ends with everyone finding something expensive to wear, and Homer kissing Marge.

Now, both of these episodes are great because of the characters' relationship with each other, seen a lot in older episodes of the show. Homer being selfless and considerate, Marge appreciating what Homer does.

Just frustrating and turns me off with his thumbnail he used for the video

When MatPat finally acknowledged tinyBuild's tweets, I felt it was a taboo. Back when he live-streamed the full game in 2017 and didn't like it, he obviously wanted to back from the series entirely. He couldn't shake it off, however.

Besides from a passing jab on how much it sucked, he NEVER acknowledged it for years. So I have to commend him for recognizing the whole situation now.

Steam reviews are filled with a lot of filler and memes, it's not where I'd go for opinions. Also, companies like Google/Valve have precautions for review-bombs anyways soooo there's not much principle in the end.
