About

Hello, welcome to my profile.

I joined GotFunnyPictures mostly to be able to comment and upvote. I'm not entirely sure how to upload images and videos or how to create and edit entries, but I don't have that much to add, so that works out fine. I tend to lurk around in some of the image galleries.

I am seventeen years old, male, was born in Polokwane (Formerly Pietersburg), Limpopo, South Africa, lived in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa until I was seven years old, at which point my parents decided to move back to their country of origin, so nowadays I inhabit Cork, Munster, Ireland.

British-Irish social democrat, bisexual vegetarian and general nerd. I have a fondness for yaoi, geopolitics, prehistory, nice food and puns. If you'd like to talk about boy's love, international relations, maniraptoriformes, cookery or wordplay, I'm all ears.

Hetalia, Free!, Shimoneta, Dinosaur King and Pokémon.
Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time and Rick and Morty. I watched the first three seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, but had trouble finding anywhere that would reliably play the episodes of the fourth season. I might make another attempt to find somewhere that has them at some point.
Marvel, Disney and Pixar movies in general, most of the time. Also some comedies, documentaries, historical movies and so on. I'm not a particularly big fan of tense or scary movies, but Jurassic Park gets an honourable mention.
Mostly Nintendo games, such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Pokémon and Kirby, as well as Monster Hunter. I also like Spore, and I've been considering getting Overwatch, if my computer is capable of handling it. I might also try out Fire Emblem Fates this summer.
Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, The Edge Chronicles, by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell and the Bartimaeus Sequence by Jonathan Stroud. I've read one book in the Tales of the Ketty Jay series by Chris Wooding and I'm planning to read the others, and I'd also be interested in trying out Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan.

Thanks for reading, have a nice day and goodbye!
