Like f**k it will. The "this thing will replace programmers" dance has been going on for longer than most of the people here have been alive, and it so much misses the point of what the core skills in programming are it's not even funny.

The most likely thing stuff like ChatGPT will become is a programming framework. Ask your friendly neighborhood programmer what usually happens when a "revolutionary" new framework is introduced. And this is a framework that's almost designed to present its results as if they are always correct.

Honestly i kinda do want to see some companies use this as a replacement just to watch them burn.
