Masculinity and Femininity aren't social constructs…
They're hardwired into the brains of most animals. Men protect the women from predators while the women give birth.
Men compete for the attraction of women.
Women are built for taking care of the young and being self reliant.
Even if we don't act this way due to how developed we are, men are built for being masculine like competing or home building, while women are there for feminine things like caring for the young or choosing who to mate with. Our bodies and attitudes towards the other sex often boil down to "Is that guy ripped or well off?" and "Is that women able to support a family and can I score with her?"
