On May 24th, 2024, Twitter / X^[1] user @rasaa2020 posted a quote retweet on a post by @KazuhasiTomo, uploading a photo of three girls posing while the Google street view car passed by them. The caption roughly translates to "Found on street view, probably the beginning of new school leaders." The post received 7,500 reposts and 87,400 likes in two days (shown below).

Days later, the photo became popular redraw material for drawing fan art. For example, on May 27th, 2024, Twitter / X^[2] user @5555sssr uploaded Monogatari Series fan art based on the photo. The post received more than 6,100 reposts and 44,600 likes in one day (shown below, left).
