This Is My Gamer Pad also known as That Just Makes You A Beta Cuck refers to a memorable scene from SnapCube's fan-dub of the 2006 Sonic The Hedgehog video game. The scene features Mephiles showing Amy Rose and Silver The Hedgehog his "gamer pad," concluding with him accusing Silver of being a "beta-cuck." The original video was uploaded in 2019 before it became a widely used lip-dup meme for various other franchises.

Origin

On April 20th, 2019, YouTube^[1] channel SnapCube uploaded a video titled, "Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) | Real-Time Fandub Games." The video was an hour-and-a-half recording of various voice actors dubbing over 2006 Sonic The Hedgehog video game in one take. The upload gathered over 19 million views in over three years (seen below, left), with the relevant scene taking place at the 14:07 timestamp. On May 6th, 2019, YouTuber^[2] Korean Panda uploaded the specific segment containing Mephiles's monologue, gathering over 3 million views in over three years (seen below, right).

The dialogue in the aforementioned videos follows the script given below:

Mephiles: Welcome to my house. As you can see I have knocked over many chairs because I get so tilted at the towers.

Silver The Hedgehog: Well this isn't really tilted or a tower.

Mephies: Well you see, it's a gamer pad. not many girls come in here because I get friend zoned so frequently, but that's ok.

Silver The Hedgehog: I'd like to be in the friend zone! I like friends!

Mephiles: It's not as pleasant as you think. They don't treat you like a friend, they treat you like an item. Sometimes I wish I could be more than just an accessory to these women. But unfortunately, as a gamer, I don't get respect.

Silver The Hedgehog: Well I'm not a gamer, so maybe they will respect me!

Mephiles: That just makes you a beta cuck. That's the difference between you and I, Silver the hedgehog, I'm an alpha gamer!

On March 29th, 2021, YouTuber^[3] SilentManJoe posted a video titled, "Spy's GamerPad®." The video featured animation from Team Fortress 2, with Spy delivering Mephiles's monologue. The video gathered over 190,000 views in nearly two years (seen below, left). On January 20th, 2022, YouTuber^[4] @Genowhirl70 posted a video titled, "Berdly's Gamer Pad [SnapCube Animated]," using the same sound from SnapCube's fan dub, gathering over 430,000 views in over a year (seen below, right).

Another memorable line from the video is Mephiles saying, "That just makes you a beta cuck." On September 27th, 2020, YouTuber^[5] LousyLouLoser posted a video with the title, "That just makes you a Beta Cuck (ft. My Friends)," using the sound from the original SnapCube video, gathering over 90,000 views in over two years (seen below, left). On September 6th, 2021, YouTuber^[6] Katia Managan posted an edit of a Harry Potter scene with Mephiles and Silver superimposed on the characters as they say "beta cuck." The video gathered over 20,000 views in over a year.

On July 17th, 2021, Redditor /u/OrtaPottyYT posted a series of images to /r/ExpandDong,^[7] gathering over 700 upvotes in in over a year (seen below).
