Origin

The earliest known usage of the hashtag was posted on November 18th, 2010 by Twitter [1] user @stephanieebrtn (shown below). They wrote, "It should be illegal you know, animals showing off there flippin cuteness. Its gunna KILL me #thingsthatarebadforyourhealth."

On January 16th, 2019, Twitter[2] user @SotallyToberHTs tweeted, "Put down the ice cream carton, ash your cigarettes, and get ready to play tonight’s SotallyTober hashtag: #ThingsThatAreBadForYourHealth The #Flagship game, part of the @HashtagRoundup app powered by @TheHashtagGame." The tweet received more than 25 retweets and 70 likes in 24 hours (shown below, left).

That day, Twitter[3] user @alsoANGRYref tweeted a joke about the Donald Trump 'Hamberders' Dinner. They wrote, "Dinner at The White House #ThingsThatAreBadForYourHealth." The tweet received more than 920 retweets and 4,800 likes in 24 hours (shown below, right).
