Nothing Bad Ever Happens To The Kennedys is a line said by JFK of the animated series Clone High while he drives a car before the car flips over. The line has been used in numerous video remixes, becoming a meme along with the rise of JFK memes, nearly two decades after the scene first aired.

Origin

In Episode 5 of Clone High, "Sleep of Faith: La Rue D'Awakening," JFK is seen driving a car in a race, declaring "Nothing bad ever happens to the Kennedys" before his car flips over just before the finish line. The episode first aired on December 1st, 2002.[1]



Spread

The clip became a meme in 2020 along with other JFK memes from Clone High, as users edited the clip to heighten the ironic humor. For example, on August 30th, YouTuber Goggs posted an edit where JFK flies into space, gaining over 15,000 views (shown below, left). On September 9th, user SilentManJoe posted a similar edit, gaining over 93,000 views (shown below, right).



Edits were also popular on Twitter. For example, the clip was added to @PrecedeVideos, which specializes in cutting scenes before unfortunate events happen, on August 18th, 2020 (shown below, top). On September 16th, DitzyFlama posted an edit mixing the clip with SpongeBob SquarePants, gaining over 370 retweets and 1,600 likes in less than an hour (shown below, bottom).

So far it feels like Clone High is following the Samurai Jack S5 and Devilman Crybaby route given just like the last two came back(not now but soon enough).

Tons of memes and fanarts from people who mostly never heard about the series before.
I wonder if Clone High is gonna last in relevancy, considering almost no one cared about the other two on the internet after their series ended
