On March 1st, 2018, Redditor[5] strawberrygnome posted in the /r/OldSchoolCool subreddit an image of a group United States soldiers in Vietnam with the caption "My dad (front) in Vietnam in 1971. Didn’t know this photo existed until I came across it randomly on the internet. He cried when he saw it. Hope this is the right place to post it." The post (shown below) received more than 103,000 points (91% upvoted) and 2,800 comments in four days.

The next day, on March 2nd, 2018, Redditor[1] TheNanglater started a thread in the /r/fakehistoryporn subreddit entitled "My Dad (front) in Vietnam in 1971. Didn't know this photo existed until I came across it randomly on the internet. He cried when he saw it. Hope this is the right place to post it." The corresponding image, however, is one from an animated Star Wars Lego property. The post (shown below) received more than 27,800 points (87% upvoted) in three days and 225 comments in three days.

The following day, Redditor[3] webb447 posted an image of Mac and Dennis in camouflage outfits from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia in the /r/The_Dennis subreddit. The post (shown below, center) received more than 1,700 points (96% upvoted) and 20 comments in two days.

Similarly, that day, Redditor[4] Dievass posted an image of Jeremy Clarkson from the television The Grand Tour in the /r/thegrandtour subreddit. The post (shown below, right) received more than 13,300 points (78% upvoted) and 170 comments in two days.
