On December 25th, 2015, Facebook^[1] page Bhak Sala posted a screencap of a news headline where the son of a prominent politician from Bihar advocated for more horses as a means to cut pollution. The post gathered over 1,000 likes in nearly seven years (seen below, left).

On February 2nd, 2016, Facebook^[2] page "oye sun aaj bunk pe chale" posted a meme parodying a tourism slogan by the Bihar government, which translates to "We will put a bullet in your head if you don't come to Bihar." The post gathered nearly 1,000 likes in six years (seen below, left). On June 26th, 2016, Facebook^[3] page BabaChu posted a meme that reimagined a poster for the movie Udta Punjab as a parody of the 2016 Bihar school examination scandal.^[4] The post gathered over 3,000 likes in over six years (seen below, right).
