On X, the label is typically used in the copypasta format stating "every man simply wants a beautiful mid to call his own."

Origin

On September 9th, 2023, X^[1] user @KILLTOPARTY posted a photograph of a conventionally attractive woman, commenting, "Every man simply wants a beautiful mid to call his own." The post (shown below, left) received over 650 reposts and 9,100 likes in two weeks. On September 10th, 2023, @KILLTOPARTY^[2] used the phrase in a similar post based on another photograph, which received over 130 reposts and 3,800 likes in two weeks (shown below, right).

The post sparked discourse on X, with users quoting the post and parodying it. For example, on September 10th, 2023. X^[3] user @Solleno__ posted an image of a conventionally attractive, fit man, writing, "Every woman simply wants a beautiful mid to call her own." The post (shown below, left) received over 80 reposts and 760 likes in two weeks. Also that day, user @GeebMinister quoted^[4] one of @KILLTOPARTY's posts, writing, "People that talk like this need to be dropped off in the middle of the Sahara."
