Snopes feud is a weird one. To start with, it makes sense for Snopes to fact check the less obvious satire. BB doesn't fall into that context most of the time, they're typically pretty blatantly outlandish onion style articles and make the clear even in their "headlines". Setting up a new label for satire was also the correct response (since "false" sets off the fake news sensors snopes is trying to put up, they really should have done that earlier.)

At the same time the "labeled satire" description is hilariously passive aggressive, and so is the "problem for democracy" article (though it wasn't directly written by them, and included other satire sights). In the end I think Snopes is just taking satire too seriously.
