I personally do not condone vigilantism, even less so from actual law-abiding citizens and even less so with lethal consequences, but the point of common criminals such as buglars still being better than pedophiles and similar others can still be made here and, if anything, morally-grounded vigilantism is more or less the best we can expect of criminals, anyway. But yes, I would not be praising someone whose self-proclaimed purpose in life is to go out and kill pedophiles, in lieu of not praising murders.
