Fan Screaming at Madison Beer Performance is a redraw meme template based on a BeReal post depicting a Madison Beer fan screaming during one of her concerts, Beer shown on most of the screen while the fan's scream and selfie are shown in a small window in the top left corner. The image was posted to X / Twitter in late April 2024 and became the subject of redraws at the start of May, with many depicting ship pairings as Beer and the fan.

Origin

On April 30th, 2024, X^[1] user @66666666kg posted a screenshot of a BeReal post showing a fan screaming at a Madison Beer concert, writing, "This is so fucking funny," garnering over 126,000 likes and 27,000 reposts in two days (shown below).

On May 1st, X^[2] user @artist_astra quote-reposted the post, writing, "New draw your ship prompt just dropped," garnering over 55,000 likes and 6,500 reposts in a day (seen below).

Spread

Redraws of the image became notably popularized over the following days, with X users largely posting them as quote-reposts under both the original post by @66666666kg and the quote-repost by @artist_astra. For example, on May 2nd, 2024, X^[3] user @tsuyomediva posted an Avatar: The Last Airbender redraw that gained over 8,500 likes in under a day (shown below, left).

On the same day, X^[4] user @deepuccino posted a Honkai Star Rail redraw that gained over 14,000 likes in the same span of time (shown below, right).

Also on May 2nd, X^[5] user @rezi_jellyfish posted a Jujutsu Kaisen redraw of the image, garnering over 15,000 likes in under a day (shown below).
