The writing throughout Peter Capaldi's seasons was unfortunately totally abysmal. What really sucks is that Capaldi was undoubtedly one of the best castings for The Doctor yet. I don't see that changing during this next season.

I expect that many nerds will complain about the new series because of the continued shortcomings of recent Doctor Who writing, and from that will spring yet another social media controversy about sexism, racism, and most likely, homophobia.

Imo Dr Who really suffers from reusing things and never letting things go
like the dalkes
the fact that the came back really pissed me off
remember that scene in the first season of the reboot where the dr finds out there’s one left and he goes completely ballistic over it?
that is good charecter development
then they just shoot it and shove it out of a plane by bringing them back in full force so they xan pander to nostalgia and not have to come up with new villans
