2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine - Really makes you think

I always live by a simple adage; anything that you use against your enemies can be used against you. We already got people who were spooked by the Canadian protest into not trusting banks and electronic payments. This just shows how much worse it can get if the powers that be really don't like you. Hell, it doesn't even have to be our own politicians. What happens when China finally surpasses the West economically and uses these exact same tactics to get what they want?

This is no revelation, anyone who's used any site which had NSFW content knows all about it where payment services suddenly decide one day that they're moral arbiters.

Honestly it's good to see such a fickle system be used in a way to (or at least attempts to) benefit things.
