This redraw really captures the sheer disgust and dread of pushing someone past their breaking point and essentially emotionally sabotaging them into committing murder (or at least, a HIGHLY severe injury against her own friend)

What is worse is that it appears to have long-term impacts on the narrative. When Kris and Susie go to the hospital to visit Rudy, Rudy comments that Noelle is playing her video games differently. Not to mention, Noelle seems straight up petrified and scared in the presence of Kris – as opposed to just being a little startled and anxious. She hasn't forgotten about what happened to Berdly, and what Kris really 'made' her do. She is clearly in denial, trying to scavenge onto a possibility lighter than death itself – trying to suggest that Berdly was just deep-sleeping, or even unconscious for a bit.

Over all, the gravity of that scene was insane.
