Daily reminder that some people (normies and fellow anons included) genuinely think some of the shit that goes on and off the boards is just shitposting. A (bad, given the current context) example would be the existence of wizards. For many their mere existence is inconceivable, they're just merely putting a ruse and/or attention/karma whoring.

I remember reading Dumm Comics, today it's mostly dead, some of my favorite comics were Through the Port Hole (artist eventually went to CN and did The Adventures of Flapjack), and… Kimbo/1930s Nightmare Theatre, think an edgy Oswald the Rabbit character. The author's last comic was just the titular Kimbo doing the "plastic bubble full of helium" thing (People would brush it off because everybody kills everyone all the time in that universe). Next thing is Ricky (author) is dead.Re-reading previous strips and rants would reveal he was calling for help for a good while.
