Nihilism - Optimistic Nihilism

I think of it as "life has no meaning, so I'll give it meaning"
It's kind of freeing knowing that you have no pre-destined fate and can have control over where you want your life to go

I would actually feel quite empty without some kind of goal set for myself, and I do consider myself nihilist by default, so I am not sure how much of a "positive" spin this is…

I would personally go with "Sure, the universe doesn't give a fuck about anything, but neither do we really care about the universe all that much as long as it doesn't end on the next 70 years or so, so we're even and we can enjoy life better knowing this", instead.
