I dunno, how many school shootings is it gonna take before we acknowledge there's a problem with the american public school system and the way modern parents are raising their kids?
That there are people unwilling to support any form of gun control whatsoever no matter how many casualties it causes. I've had someone sincerely argue, to my face, that banning nuclear weapons is a 2nd amendment right and that its treason for me to suggest that the government has the authority to control the nuclear arsenals of its citizens. You can't have any sort of compromise with someone like that, and if change is necessary and the opposition is uncompromising then the eventual change that happens will be uncompromising. So I think its in the 2nd amendment crowd's best interests to make some small compromises now to prevent something spiteful happening later. Because our system runs on spite now, and for the foreseeable future.
