turning video games into movies is always a bad idea.

its a visual medium already, and more importantly its a visual medium that can go into far greater detail than movies, AND its a medium that usually takes dozens of hours to go through that you are going to have to pack into two hours at the most.

just a bad idea all around.

Out of remakes to do, Hollywood?

Out of bad plots that couldn't be done in the 70s/80s/90s due to technology restraints to make up for it, and now that we have the technology, they still suck Jar Jar balls?

Out of bestellers to adapt?
