The Super Bowl Shuffle is a 1985 rap song performed by members of the Chicago Bears football team, which was released to critical acclaim and inspired numerous parodies and imitations.
Origin
In 1985, the Chicago Bears football team released a music video for their rap song "Super Bowl Shuffle," in which various players rhyme about their future game wins and athletic prowess (shown below). That year, the song won a Grammy Award for Best Rhythm and Blues Performance. Over the next several years, other sports teams released imitations and parodies of the song, including the Kansas Wesleyan football team, the Boston College Men's Ice Hockey team and the Houston Rockets basketball team.[2]

On January 31st, 2006, YouTuber Kerri Miller uploaded a 1980's promotional video for the Southern Food Brokerage Corporation, in which the company's sales representatives perform a parody of the song titled "Super Broker Shuffle" (shown below, left). On January 22nd, 2007, Ebaum's World[1] posted the original Chicago Bears music video, which gained over 58,000 views and 65 comments in nine years. On June 30th, YouTuber superLINUSxxx uploaded a "Super Bowl Shuffle" parody by the American Wrestling Association titled "The WrestleRock Rumble" (shown below, right).
On November 30th, 2009, YouTuber Scott Gairdner uploaded a parody video titled "Sex Offender Shuffle," featuring actors portraying sex offenders forced to rap about their convictions (shown below, left). Within six years, the video gained over 2.9 million views and 5,000 comments. In February 2010, Boost Mobile released a commercial featuring a parody version of the "Super Bowl Shuffle" (shown below, right).
On August 11th, 2011, YouTuber bow2tragic uploaded a remix of the "Super Bowl Shuffle" (shown below, left). On September 26th, 2013, Key and Peele released a parody video in which rival football players make competing rap music videos (shown below, right). On August 23rd, 2014, the "Sex Offender Shuffle" parody video was submitted to the /r/NotTimeAndEric[3] subreddit.
