About

Frogs are carnivorous, short-bodied, tailless amphibians that, together with toads, make up the order Anura. According to fossils found in Madagascar, frogs date back 201.3 million years to the early Triassic, but some scientists suggest that they may have emerged 265 million yeas ago during the Permian period. The order is widely distributed throughout the world, ranging from tropical regions to the subarctic. In addition to comprising at least 4,800 species, frogs make up 85% of the total number of extant amphibian species.[1] Online, there have been numerous memes, videos, and artwork dedicated to frogs. In 2020, frogposting became a popular medium of wholesome memes..
