Kim Kardashian's CBD Baby Shower refer's to Kim Kardashian West's relaxation and CBD themed baby shower for her 4th child expected to arrive in May 2019 via surrogate.
Background
On April 27th, 2019, Kim Kardashian West shared photos and video of her baby shower through Instagram stories. A video shared features West standing surrounded by guests announcing, "So, because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD and we're going to do a soundbath."
Notable Developments
On April 28th, many celebrities shared photos and videos from the shower to their Instagram stories. Celebrities in attendance include Paris Hilton, Chrissy Teigen, Kris Jenner, Olivia Peirson and Nicole Williams. West[2] shared a photo of all the cbd products laid out for guests (shown below, left). Olivia Peirson[3] shared a photo featuring Yeezy sandals that where given out at the party (shown below, center). Paris Hilton[1] also shared various photos to Instagram stories of the event (shown below, right).
That day, news of the party spread on Twitter and various Twitter users commented on the CBD trend. Twitter user @arielgm1994[3] tweeted, "Kim Kardashian had a CBD themed baby shower and now the CBD obsession is officially out of control" (shown below). The tweet gained over 500 likes and 100 retweets in a day.
