"Transphobia" is not a valid word because the attitude it refers to is entirely correct and should not be stigmatized at all.

To clarify: I do not support wanton discrimination against people who identify as trans, but I absolutely refuse to recognize their delusion as reality.

Really, never?

For most people the time they'd be gladdest to be wrong would be some life-changing/saving event like an unexpected recovery from illness/injury thought to be fatal, or world-changing news, such as Trump's election win for myself (just as an example I can think of from the top of my head). Not just the reactions to some casual argument with some asshole online.
