In seriousness I think it might have something to do with keeping it neutral. Part of the thing is the article has be lauded as neutral compared to other articles on the subject and I think the mods were trying to keep it neutral, hence why there's a forum thread about it and why the changes went through the mods first as opposed to other pages where people can edit willy-nilly.

He did say that he will update the article on Sunday if the mods continue their silence on the matter.
