This seems more of an ethics failure on EA's part, since they basically deceived the reviewers in question. Also, doesn't this predate Gamergate by quite a bit?
I'm afraid it doesn't make sense to me. This series of images is apart of infographic series that ties into gamergate. And this image is the prelude to the big always online stuff that people are so mad about. Again I'm not sure, I was just asked to upload all the images in that infograph series.

I think the image should stay because it shows that there is history of corruption and poor work ethic in the games journalism industry and thus provides context for gamergate. If we don't provide context than people will just think gamergate just miraculously happened.
