Is it because of the gay ending? Cause last I check the show Clarence gave a portrayal of gay couple like it was nothing a few months back, and I am amazed Vanity Fair didn't post an article on that the moment that scene happen.

Unless it is about everything else like the philosophy, animation, story and influence of the series as a whole (which is a pretty big no shit as far as how great the series is). Otherwise, I'm pretty sure Clarence did the whole gay shit in a work for kids first . . . on television, since technically Paranorman did it first.
