It depends on what the designers are trying to do with the graphics. The wrestling game was looking for realistic representational graphics and falling short, a situation that brings up uncanny valley concerns as well.

Minecraft chose a more stylistic look on purpose and carried it through well. While I wouldn't say it was the greatest graphics ever, the picture is correct in that they are "good" and the wrestling game's graphics are "bad."

This is coming from probably the only person on the internet to have never played Minecraft, so don't assume I'm a fan either.
