However, I can't help but feel the Desmond family are developing into the Anti-Forgers (in terms of their family dynamic and jobs, I feel they're going to maintain an acquaintance-level relationship with the Forgers.) Makes me wonder if Melinda is a Judge, or someone else who specializes in determining punishments and executions for enemies of Ostania.

Calling it right now: the Desmonds will become highly suspicious of Yor, on the grounds of meeting Melinda in such a coincidental way and being so insanely agile and stronk, as well as so conveniently marrying the father of a 1st-year Eden student, and will be led to believe that she is a foreign spy. They'll end up so focused on her and her alone that Loid will have all the occasions in the world to make his moves, and they'll crack their heads trying to figure out how she managed to get through their ironclad surveillance AGAIN.
