Oh yeah, I remember this manga.

It was first released BEFORE the first metroid game, and the writers didn't knew about the whole 'Samus is a girl twist', so they wrote the manga assuming Samus was a dude.

And in doing so, created the first accidental lesbian icon we needed but didn't deserved.
