According to local police records, hitwoman Samus Aran frequently clashes against the Space Mafia and their notorious leader; Mama Brain. Her right-hand man is Ridley "The Ripper". Samus took up her trade after a hit was put on her parents and Ridley whacked them. She was later raised by the Chozo family, who were a feared crime family of their own until they retired and opened a restaurant. Upon her request, they taught her how to use firearms and their fighting style. She eventually left them to become a hitwoman, but later learned that Mama Brain ordered her forces to burn the restaurant and whack the remaining members of the Chozo family. With the blessing of the late Comissioner Malkovich, Samus went to Mama Brain's headquarters; the Zebes Lounge and shot up everyone in the underground storage facilities as well as taking a few weapons of her own. Among her kill list were notable members of the Space Mafia such as "Big Boy" Kraid. She eventually confronted Mama Brain in her office and killed her as revenge. Samus later went to the basement's ammo and explosives storage, and was confronted by Ridley. He was then gunned down and Samus armed a bomb to destroy the Space Mafia's base. It's been reported that several members survived such as Mama Brain and Ridley, which means that Samus has several bullets with their named engraved on them.
