Batman - You know, the not-so-goddamn Batman would not be bad once in a while, too.

Batman has often been portrayed as sympathetic toward his villains, especially in the animated incarnations.

Take the Killing Joke for instance, the story is all about Batman wanting to help Joker, but the tragedy being he's too far gone and they're doomed to keep fighting each other.

Live-action Batman never really delves into that. Closest we get is in Batman and Robin, as he does show sympathy to Freeze in the end and even helps him.

This will forever be my favorite Batman moment. Not beating up the bad guys or dramatically saving the day, but comforting a scared little girl in her final hours.
