About
Well, Well, Well, If It Isn't The Consequences Of My Own Actions is a catchphrase sarcastically indicating surprise at the results of one's own follies. The phrase was first posted in a 2018 tweet and has since been used to joke about people receiving their comeuppance for their behavior. It is also frequently paired in an image macro with VTuber Usada Pekora.
Origin
On September 29th, 2018, Twitter / X user @geraldinreverse, now with the handle @_lildubois,[1] tweeted, "Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions." The tweet gained over 129,000 retweets and 277,000 likes in six years (shown below).

The catchphrase has seen widespread use since 2018 on Twitter as a way to joke about a person or organization experiencing the negative results of their words or policies. For example, on October 4th, 2020, after Donald Trump was diagnosed with COVID-19, Desus and Mero[2] used the phrase as a way to joke about Trump's lax attitude towards COVID, gaining over 100 retweets and 480 likes in nearly four years (shown below, left).
On July 15th, 2023, Twitter user @SteveTex[3] used it to joke about Elon Musk admitting advertising revenue on Twitter was down 50 percent, gaining over 150 likes in one year (shown below, right).
The phrase has also been associated with image macros of VTuber Pekora. The edit was first posted to the subreddit /r/Hololive[4] by Redditor DrThebes on August 11th, 2020, where it gained over 4,300 points before being archived (shown below, left).
The image has been paired with various captions since. For example, on January 20th, 2021, Redditor CzerstfyChlep posted it with a caption about failing a test in /r/memes,[5] gaining over 430 points in three years (shown below, right).
