Kellee Santiago Indie Fund, OUYA, thatgamecompan Polytron Investor 2009 $5000 3.57% IndieCade Festival Posted on 2011/08/24 by KelleeSan NRE International Festival of Independent Games I've had the pleasure of being on the Advisory Board for IndieCade, and in 2011 became Chair of the Awards Jury for the 2011 Festival, held in Culver City in October I use it mainly as an excuse to hang out with some of the most awesome people in the Universe - independent interactive media artists. Jury Committee The IndieCade jury is comprised of more than 100 jurors from around the world. These jurors are artists, academics, independent game creators industry specialists, and more. The jury chair works with these jurors to review all of the games anonymously. At the end of multiple rounds of jurying a selection of finalists are identified. These finalists are then reviewed by the awards jury for additional recognition The 2011 IndieCade Awards were held last night in Santa Monica, and XBLA platformer Fez came away the big winner, taking home awards for both Best in Show and Story/World Design. Johann Sebastian Joust also won two awards, one for Best Technology and G4's own Impact Award, for impact on the gaming community Click the cut for a full Indiecade winners .
