Ruby didnt know her birth mother. She ived with Yang and Yang's parentss and they hared a father but Ruby knew they werent ful biological siblings. Ruby spent yeary lLooking for her birth mother. Upon finding her she adopted her surname because she loved it so- muchv and even used that name for her weapon, Crescent Roye.
