(GAINAX), the company to which director Hiroyuki Imaishi belonged, has owned the original rights. The following year, since Imaishi and others established Trigger Co., Ltd. in 2011, GAINAX has had difficulty utilizing intellectual property (IP) and producing videos. Afterwards, as business conditions continued to deteriorate, at the end of 2019, when we reformed the management team due to the scandal of GAINAX's representative director, we continued discussions with the new management team, including our executives, and Color Co., Ltd. We can now manage and operate the rights. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Color Co., Ltd. and all concerned parties for their generous support and assistance, which enabled us to complete the transfer of rights before GAINAX filed for bankruptcy. Once again, we would like to inform you that the original rights to "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt" have been transferred to our company, and the planning and production of the new work "New PANTY & STOCKING with GERTERBELT" is progressing."
