Yes, this is literally the second time she defied death. From what I understand, Filoni and co. operate under Lucas' principal, which Gene Roddenberry of Star Trek also operated under, that if it didn't happen on screen it might as well have never happened. Apparently Bad Batch series director Brad Rau said they're not going to directly retcon the Dark Disciple novel, which adapts 8 unfinished episodes of TCW and kills off Ventress at the end but how they're goin to pull that off…we're just gonna have to wait and see.

Ventress also has a recurring thing with turning out to not be dead, seemingly being killed off in the micro series, but is shown to be alive in the comics, killed off in the Dark Horse comics only to get right back up in the same issue. Ventress is beating K'Kruhk's record.
