*Because of my name tag, everyone assumes I speak Spanish. *this is me, working front desk at a Disney Resort like a mouse. "Buenos dias, senor. Estoy registrarnos en el hotel de hoy" *I always end up explaining to my guests that I know little to no Spanish. Regardless, I try my best to help them out (with the help of an interpreter of course) . As best as I try, sometimes I am harshly criticized by some guests and my hispanic manager for not speaking what they believe is my native toungue "No problema" NOT BAD "Por que no hablas espanol, Derpando!?" "Welcome to Port Orleans! How may I assist you?" "Just checking in. Last name Derpez" EVENINE "That's a very interesting last name. What nationality is that?" "Funny storv about that. I'm "OMG! I'm half Mexican and Puerto-Rican! And I don't know Spanish either!" f Polish, half Mexican and hal but I don't know a lick of Spanish" *We both then expressed how it feels to be harrassed because we do not know the language. EPIC FIST BUMP Thank you sir for creating a little Disney Magic for me *Guests like him are the reason why I smile through all the trials and tribulations other guests and co- workers put me through
