So it's possible this desire for food - and to avoid BECOMING food is what led to things like "imagination" and long-term planning" and "considering possible futures, and trying to bring about the most favourable one". Huh! And that necessarily includes scenarios in which you'd imagine yourself as a WORSE hunter, discover how that makes you feel, and then AVOID doing that, right? Sure!
