This is the essential core of all modern art.
If you're an artist on DeviantArt, you are not actually a real artist when you sell your 50+ hour furry commission. The world considers the real artist to be some rando who draws a line on a blank canvas in a drunken stupor.

I like to call it the difference between art and ART!
Art is simply an attempt to beautify a thing beyond what it was originally. A fine crafted sword can be both beautiful and functional, a painting of a thing can beautify an area, etc… It requires talent, or at least effort.
ART! is just an attempt to get the most money out of the least amount of effort possible by being pretentious.
